Information collected

The enquiry form requests your name, email address and a description of the engineering question. Company name, project inputs, deliverable requirements and timeframe are optional. The anti-spam service may process technical connection information such as IP address and browser signals.

Purpose and legal basis

I use this information to respond to your enquiry, decide whether an engagement is appropriate and discuss scope and deliverables. This is generally based on legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, or on taking steps at your request before a contract. Where a project proceeds, contractual and legally required record-keeping obligations may apply.

Service providers and international processing

Enquiries submitted through this website are handled by Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare Turnstile. The form uses Resend to deliver enquiry messages by email. These providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards available for their services, including applicable contractual protections. Their current data-processing and transfer terms should be consulted for specific details.

Retention

For enquiries that do not become projects, my intended retention limit is 24 months after the last relevant communication, unless an earlier deletion request applies or a legal obligation requires longer retention. Information related to a contract is kept for the period required by applicable legal and accounting rules.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), the supervisory authority in Croatia.
